Xintesys-Connect Workflows, joined up

From the workshop

One company's sales order is another company's purchase order. We're building the piece that effectively joins them.

Today that join is usually a person — someone opens a PDF, retypes it into their own system, and hopes nothing slipped. The work going on behind this page is about retiring that chore: connectors that pick a document up in one system and set it down, correctly shaped, in the next.

The doors aren't open yet, but the lights are on. Look in again soon — this page will change the moment there is something ready, new and exciting!

…and the rest of the paper trail.

A note on AI helpers

Why agents may not be enough

You may have heard of AI "agents" — assistants that can read a document, work out what it says, and click through screens the way a person would. They're useful, and we get along with them fine. Where one can lend a hand, we'll let it.

But an agent is a generalist. It knows a little about everything and the fine print of nothing. An interior designer's fit-out quote, a builder's progress claim, a bio-medical order with lot numbers and expiry dates — every trade has its own paperwork, its own rules, and its own expensive ways of going wrong. That's work for a connector built for your industry and tested against its quirks:

  • Accuracy — a connector made for your trade knows a lot number from a batch number, and a retention sum from a discount. It doesn't guess.
  • Speed — no reading, no pondering, no clicking about. The document leaves one system and lands in the other, already in the right shape.
  • Direct results — not a draft for somebody to double-check, but the actual entry, in the actual system, ready to work from.

So that's our position: friendly with agents, but the joins themselves rest on something sturdier.

The engine underneath

Xintesys-Connect is being built on Xintesys — business software that has kept companies' orders, stock and books in order since 2009.
